Laptop decal
Here is the new laptop decal I just purchased for my 13.3" laptop, MostlyHarmless. I love this skin because of all the references to Super Mario Bros 2 :-)
The decal is from Gela Skins and cost as much as a portrait from R. Stevens of Diesel Sweeties fame... still regretting not buying the portrait when I had the chance (I was broke!)
My 17" laptop, TheBook, has the words "Don't Panic" embalzoned on it in large, friendly letters, and my desktop, Bistromath, has a warning about restaurant mathematics on it.
I purchased the custom text stickers for those two from a fishing company, bizarrely enough, as they specialised in printing waterpoof linoleum name stickers for boats.
So there you go.

How to use this book
This is a diagram on how to navigate between a textbook's chapters. Simple, huh? It's for a networking/mathematics book, funnily enough.

MDF dust makes the ground very slippery!
Some of the workshop crew and I inspect the work in progress for one of the exhibits being built for our latest exhibition. Plus one of the graphic designers gave me a more "realistic" background :D

cakes and cats
Just a quick catch up post. Here are two of the three birthday cakes I baked to share for my birthday last week (all wheat free recipes). The most delicious one in my opinion was the lemon-polenta-ricotta-berry cake, although the carrot cake was unbelievably good also. The carrot cake icing had a spicy dash of alcoholic zazz that really made a difference, along with a few other tricks to make it thick and fluffy and delicious!
I also made lemon-lavender cookies, and peanut butter cookies, which were ridiculously popular (they tasted like peanut flavoured shortbread, really).
Lucius was so cute snuggling up to Butters that I had to capture it on my mobile. I should put more Kyoko pics up here, it's just whenever she's cute I am mobile-less or she is already on my lap! Must get a recent pic Scott took of her and put it up here, it is brilliant.
End ramble.

Sketchtastic
These are a bit blurry (I really need to buy a camera to replace the one that got stolen in 2006...)
Wuffie is working on a nifty present for my 25th birthday (this Sunday), and these are some sketches she did of me while drafting the final thing. I adore them!

Suspicious!
Something in this RIM is breaking the power distribution cards. This is the third replacement in as many months.

Clone troopers protecting my fish tank at work
Clone troopers are totally metal. Technically the standing one is a Storm Trooper, but FORCE CHOKE! So there!

Aeroplane spinner
This is one of a pair of aeroplanes attached to a rotating device with a diameter of about 15 feet. It's huge and awesome and sounds like a depressed mosquito. It looks like a trap in an Indiana Jones flick. In development for the upcoming exhibition.
